SUMMARY
As the Technology Lead, I directed the technical execution and innovation strategy for the official BLINK Cincinnati mobile application. Tasked with enhancing one of the largest light and art festivals in the nation, I led the integration of beacon-based IoT technology and real-time geo-location services. My focus was on creating a frictionless (physical + digital) bridge, allowing attendees to navigate an immersive, city-wide gallery via intuitive mapping and proximity-based discovery.

THE IMPACT
The application provided a centralized digital layer for the city-wide event, transitioning the festival from traditional paper maps to a dynamic, location-aware mobile experience. By implementing real-time popularity overlays and beacon-triggered notifications, we enabled a more responsive way for visitors to discover artists and navigate high-density areas. The project successfully demonstrated the scalability of IoT technology in a massive, public-use environment.
